1. Varonis Health Check (Data Risk Assessment)
A structured 14 to 21 day engagement. You get a risk-ranked view of exposed data, over-permissioned access, and policy gaps across M365 and your file environments. No commitment to deploy, no licensing tie-in. Most clients use the Health Check to build the business case.
2. Implementation and tuning
Deploy the Varonis Data Security Platform across M365, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and on-prem file shares. We tune classifiers to your data, not vendor defaults. You receive operating documentation at handover, not just a working install.
3. Managed Varonis (Varonis MSSP)
Ongoing management of the Varonis platform. Includes alert triage, permission remediation, policy updates, classifier maintenance, and quarterly posture reviews. For organisations without dedicated data security headcount.
4. MDDR integration
Connect Varonis alerts into the Gridware MDR service so data-layer threats (ransomware staging, BEC exfiltration, insider misuse) feed the same SOC that handles your network and endpoint detection. One incident process, not two.

What is the Varonis Health Check and how is it different from the free Varonis Data Risk Assessment?
The free Varonis Data Risk Assessment is a software-driven scan. The Gridware Health Check wraps that scan in consulting: scoping, prioritisation of findings, remediation roadmap, and an executive readout. Same data, different output.
Can we use Varonis if we need our data hosted in Australia?
Yes. Varonis runs a Sydney data centre that supports SaaS customers with Australian data residency requirements. State and federal government suppliers, APRA-regulated firms, and healthcare organisations can now use Varonis SaaS without breaking residency commitments. Confirm scope with your compliance team before contract.
Do we need to be a large enterprise to get value from Varonis?
No. Mid-market organisations get strong value from Varonis, particularly those running M365 with Copilot. How does Varonis handle data inside Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise?
Varonis discovers what data Copilot can reach, classifies it, and surfaces over-permissioned content before users start exposing it through Copilot prompts. For ChatGPT Enterprise and other generative AI tools, Varonis maps similar exposure paths. The work is part discovery, part permission cleanup. We run both as part of standard implementation.
